RETREAT LEADER & FOUNDER
Originally from New Zealand, Ronon has traveled extensively in search of ancient wisdom. Studying different forms of Yoga in India, Buddhism in Nepal, and Plant Medicine in the Amazon Jungle of Peru. After experiencing the powerful and profound medicine of the plants, Ronon decided to fully dedicate himself to the path, and apprentice in Shipibo tradition. Ronon has trained with multiple different Maestros in the jungle of Peru. During this time, Ronon spent many years undergoing the rigours process of 'Dieta' with various master plants, learning the Shipibo language/Icaros, and assisting in the facilitation of ceremonies.
Ronon has also worked as the lead facilitator for the AF, supporting and holding space for fellow seekers who also wish to undergo the 'Dieta' process and work with the plants. This experience was invaluable as a huge part of the learning was how to bridge traditional medicine practices with the western mindset and psyche, and how to create a supportive and safe environment where the participants can integrate the profound physical, mental, emotional and energetic shifts.
Ronon now runs meditation retreats around the world, working with traditional Shipibo ceremonies, as well as integrating various other practices from the East, designed to allow the full embodiment of this deep and sacred ritual. Ronon is passionate about sharing his knowledge and wisdom and is deeply humbled and honoured to be allowed to walk this path.

For Wiremu it is the love of truth which is the essence of living. In his journey of discovery he came upon the healing art of the Shipibo and the Plant Teachers of the Amazon. While immersing himself in this process he saw how these plants can support the awakening of intelligence within human beings. He feels this profound love for life is woven deeply into this healing art, and has spent the last 3 years dedicating himself to learning its way. In this time he has been studying the Shipibo language of the Icaro and assisting in the facilitation of ceremonies. In this work he has found a calling which he feels is a deep honour to serve. "Margaux is a passionate advocate for the mind-body connection. With a background in Psychoneuroimmunology and a deeply personal healing journey, she has spent years weaving together the science of the nervous system with the art of emotional and somatic healing. Her journey eventually led her to plant medicine, which has profoundly deepened her understanding and continues to inspire her work in guiding others on their transformative paths.
In ceremonial spaces, she is honored to offer grounding support, helping participants reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and safely integrate profound experiences.
In addition to her somatic expertise, Margaux nurtures participants through thoughtfully crafted catering, nourishing the body as much as the spirit, understanding the pivotal role that food plays in healing and connection.
She is both deeply honored and grateful to hold space in these sacred rituals, bringing her unique blend of expertise and care to the NRNZ team. For Margaux, this work is not just a practice—it’s a calling to empower others on their transformative journeys."
